About Judy Albright

I am drawn to paint of the comforts of home and community, so that the commonplace becomes present, active, and new again. My path to becoming an artist started from a formal education in college, then through life experiences as a teacher and entrepreneur, finally to return to the arts when a workshop in pastels ignited my imagination.

For me the array of colors in the pastel palette is the hook. With each overlapping stroke of the colorful pastel stick I'm working to bring a sense of place, purpose, and joy to everyday things.
